Began running  again in 2009 to maintain my weight.  I happened on to this blog about the same time and have been reading  fairly regularly.  If you've written a race report, I've read it.  Thanks for the insight.

Cedar River Runners from Lake Wilderness Lodge.

Started early with Ron and Thomas so we could get to Landsburg park before the start of the Pigtail Flatass Marathon/50K. Lots of Cedar River runners were in the field.

7 miles outbound AP: 8:38 9:08 / 8:11 / 8:37 / 8:30 / 8:46 / 8:39 / 8:35

Started back by myself 5 minutes before the race started so I could see the leaders and cheer the CRR people at the Lake Wilderness turn off before finishing the last 2 miles.

7 miles inbound AP: 8:34 8:34 / 8:21 / 8:27 / 8:34 / 8:56 / 8:48 / 8:12.
